Apna Dal (S) MLA Rahul Kol passes away during treatment

MIRZAPUR: Apna Dal (S) MLA from Chhanbey constituency Rahul Kol passed away Thursday during treatment at a Mumbai hospital, family sources said here.

He was 40. The MLA was battling cancer for the past few years, they said. Apna Dal (S) Youth President Udai Patel told PTI that his body will be flown from Mumbai to Varanasi from where it will be taken to his village Patehara Kala in Madihan.

State spokesperson of Apna Dal (S) Ajay Srivastava has expressed grief and said his death is a big loss for the party.

Rahul was son of Apna Dal (S) MP from Robertsganj Pakodi Lal Kol. He is survived by wife, a son and two daughters.
